1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO is identical to its sibling i3 EVO. They differ only in the fact that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ is an excellent option for those who want a fully automated, hands-off cleaning experience, but are willing to manually empty the robot's dustbin once it gets full.
Both robots excel at cleaning up surface debris from carpets and hard floors, and they're very adept at getting around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home to help the i3+ navigate and clean efficiently. However unlike the i7+ and other top-rated robots we evaluated the i3+ doesn't have obstacle-avoidance capabilities and therefore it could get stuck on things such as socks or power cords, and it may have trouble in navigating through transitions between surfaces, such as from hardwood to carpet.
iRobot recommends you clear out areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, and include getting rid of any toys or clutter it may come across. It's also a good idea to keep the dust bin and filter clean so they aren't clogged by dirt. When the i3+'s internal bin is full or its battery is low, it returns to its docking station, automatically empties its debris into the station's dust bin and continues cleaning where it started. The battery's lifespan is around an hour-and-a-half of continuous usage. It takes about three hours to fully charge.
2. Roomba by iRobot

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model in iRobot's flagship line, and it has the most up-to-date features. The i7+ is faster and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin that eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces recurring cost.
We were also impressed with the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot on how to start or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. When connected best automatic vacuum cleaner were able to communicate with the i7+ using voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.

The main drawback of the V10 is its short running time. Its claims on the market that it can last up to 60 minutes of run time are misleading, as CR's testing shows. This is an average, not an exceptional, run time for a battery-powered cordless vac. This is enough time to clean a typical-sized home however, it's not enough time to reach every spot. (A second pass usually works). The 694 is a standard robot vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have a lot of money to spend on a robot. Its flat front allows it to reach corners and the edges of walls.
Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it isn't equipped with the mapping capability of more sophisticated models like our top picks such as the i3+ EVO and j7+ series.
